Pumpkin Patch

A couple weeks ago Gene's parents took our family, and Steve and Adri Ann's family to a pumpkin patch. We got to pick pumpkins, go on a hay ride, and go through a corn maze (Adri Ann and I cheated and crawled through some corn stalks to get out of the maze sshh!!). Isabelle and her cousin Justin had a blast "riding pumpkins." Isaac actually liked it, but when I was putting him in the car seat he started screaming, so I had to have at least one good crying picture of him!

Costume Parade at School!

Yesterday at the kids school they had Halloween party. I didn't decide to take the kids until the day before, and at that point we had no idea what anyone was doing for Halloween costumes!! Yesterday before the party Gene and I pulled out the dress up box and the Halloween costume box, and let the kids pick out their costumes!! Brenden's is the most interesting, I think he is a clown?!?! I am just glad that he dressed up. He is a funny kid, and doesn't really like to dress up. So here are the pictures of our first round of costumes, we have one more party to go to and then Halloween night!! I am sure we will be picking different costumes for the next party! :)

Isaac's blessing

Isaac was blessed on Sunday, October 5th!! We did a small at home blessing with a few friends and family. It was small, but great!! Isaac is such a joy to our family. And as Isabelle would say, "he looked so handsome on his blessing day!" Isabelle makes sure that Isaac looks handsome whenever we have to go somewhere important!! She is very concerned about him looking handsome! Luckily she approved of the blessing outfit Gene and I picked out for him and she said he looked very handsome. I think he looked very sweet, and is already getting too big too fast!! :(
